This Saturday the mighty Queensland Police Service will take on the might of the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) and the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) in a 5km fun run at Wishart.
The second annual Emergency Services Parkrun will be held at Wishart Community Park, Maibry Street, Wishart.
The event is free and a great opportunity for the community to interact with members of the three emergency services as well as test some of their equipment out and look through the vehicles.
The run sets off at 7am and participants can either walk, jog or race their lungs out. Everyone attending is encouraged to arrive before 6.45am.
Last year, the QPS took line honours leaving the firies and ambos in their wake and this year, there are trophies for the first service across the line, service with most in attendance and service showing best spirit.
