Police are warning residents that grinches are out and about.
One resident heard someone leaving through her front door on Sunday afternoon, December 23.
Instead of finding Santa delivering presents, she found four offender/s running off with her Christmas presents from under the tree.
Thankfully the four grinches dropped all the presents and our resident has them back safely under the tree.
Grinches are taking advantage of the heat and are finding a number of houses with open and unlocked doors and windows.
Don’t make it easy for them! Police are reminding residents to be vigilant.
Key lock security doors and remove the keys from the locks. Please make sure you always have adequate air flow;
Lock all doors and windows when you leave;
If you are going away have a neighbour collect your mail and put your bin out;
Report any suspicious activity to police.
All grinches have been warned!
