On Tuesday, October 16, police from Carina Station attended the Camp Hill Girl Guides and had a session focusing on road safety (crossing the road, seat-belts, etc) and a the day-in-the-life of a police officer.
The group consisted of about 20 girls aged between 7-11 years old.
The girls relished at the opportunity to climb through a police car, activate lights/sirens and wear ballistic vests.
This presentation was widely supported by group leaders and will assist the girls in progressing through personal milestones (badge work) in Girl Guides.
