McHappy Day is a very special day at McDonald’s as part of an ongoing effort to raise funds in support of for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
This year marked one of the biggest years yet for McHappy Day as they celebrated their 25th anniversary and aimed to raise a record $3.7 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
Since the first McHappy Day in 1991, the Australian community has helped raise over $20 million for RMHC. These funds have helped RMHC to both extend their programs and continue to provide much needed assistance to families with seriously ill children.
I was delighted to attend the local McDonald’s with some police recruits to help raise funds for this worthy cause. The recruits were observed interacting with the patrons, flipping a few burgers and even conducted some face painting for the children.
Thank you McDonald’s for having us and thank you to the community who attended
