Sunnybank Police Beat invited children and family to enjoy free scoops of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream while talking to their local police outside the Hoyts Cinema, Sunnybank on Thursday April 11.
Chinese and Vietnamese speaking Police Liaison Officers engaged in great conversations with those who attended about the Fatal Five and also home security – both important topics during the Easter Holiday period.
Keeping the kids entertained during the event was the Neighbourhood Watch Owl, Seymour!
This event was the latest in a series Operation Wake Up Road Safety awareness campaigns during the school holidays and Easter break in the South Brisbane District.
