Police have today charged two men following the alleged theft of two defibrillators from a Carindale shopping centre earlier this month.
It will be alleged the lifesaving equipment was stolen from separate levels of the Carindale Street complex around 7.20pm on September 5.
Following a public appeal and the release of CCTV footage of the incident, an 18-year-old Salisbury man and a 22-year-old Parkinson man were both charged with one count of stealing.
They will appear in the Holland Park Magistrates Court next month.
One defibrillator has been recovered while detectives are making inquiries in relation to the outstanding unit.
Police would like to thank members of the community and the media for their assistance with our appeal for information.
