Police have charged a 23-year-old man following investigations into a shooting incident at a residence in Woolloongabba on October 31.
It will be alleged that just before 1am, a number of people attended a house on Heaslop Street and became involved in an argument with a male resident.
During the argument, a firearm was discharged and the male resident sustained an injury to his leg.
A 27-year-old man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with a serious injury.
A 23-year-old man from Underwood has been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, enter dwelling with intent, and assault occasioning bodily harm.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court this afternoon.
