Police investigating the sexual assault of a 55-year-old woman early yesterday morning in Doolandella have released an image of a man who may be able to assist investigators.
Investigations indicate around 1.15am on April 27 a man entered a residence on Numbat Place and went into a bedroom where she was sleeping.
The man then touched the woman inappropriately, causing her to wake up.
The woman yelled out and the man fled the home on foot before a car was heard driving at speed from the scene.
The woman was not physically injured.
The man (pictured) is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 40-years-old with blonde hair, weathered features and was wearing a blue shirt.
Police are appealing for anyone who may recognise the man depicted, or saw anything suspicious in the vicinity at the time of the assault to contact Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
