Police investigating the alleged assault of a man in Acacia Ridge overnight have charged two people in relation to the incident.
Officers were called at 11.50pm following reports a man was being assaulted in front of a hotel on Beaudesert Road.
On arrival, a 59-year-old man was discovered out the front of the business with a broken leg.
He was taken to the Princess Alexandra hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Five men were subsequently located in a vehicle on Beatty Road and taken into custody.
An 18-year-old Goodna man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on January 22.
A 17-year-old Geebung man has been charged with affray and is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on February 12.
The other three men were released from police custody.
Investigations are continuing.
