Police have charged a 22-year-old man with more than 120 offences including the alleged theft of 15 vehicles from homes across Brisbane in the past month.
He was arrested at Mount Gravatt Showgrounds on Sunday after he was tracked by Polair allegedly driving a stolen Mercedes-Benz dangerously and evading police in Brisbane’s South.
Around 3.30pm the man abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot before being arrested by members of the dog squad a short time later.
The man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for an arm injury he sustained during the arrest.
This morning he was charged with a total of 126 offences during a bedside hearing including 15 counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle; 12 counts of enter dwelling/ premises to commit an indictable offence; 10 counts each of burglary and stealing; 64 counts of fraud; five counts of receiving tainted property; two counts of failing to stop
