South Brisbane re-launches Operation Wake Up in time for Easter

Police from the South Brisbane District officially re-launched Operation Wake Up in conjunction with the state-wide Easter Road Safety campaign today.
The events re-launch was held at the Kangaroo Point cliffs with a Coffee with a Cop event and at Sunnybank State High School with all staff and students.
Superintendent Virginia Nelson said police in the South Brisbane District were proud to be launching their Easter Road Safety campaign under the national banner of Operation Romeo Solace.

“We are working with our community to keep everybody safe over these holidays right through until Anzac day,” Superintendent Nelson said.
Superintendent Nelson is encouraging all members of our community to meet with Police at local Coffee with a Cop events throughout the period, to have a conversation about road safety.
