South Brisbane Police Muslim Youth Program 2018

The South Brisbane Police Muslim Youth Program has commenced again for the third year in a row.
The program was officially opened last Tuesday night at the Inala PCYC by Detective Senior Sergeant John Mison of the Morningside Child Protection and Investigation Unit (CPIU).
This youth program is operated in partnership with the support of Sergeants Garry Penny and Paul Gardiner of the PCYC.
The structured program is conducted over a 12-week period, with the aim at building new life skills including, focusing on self-esteem, personal development and also teamwork.
The program also aims to build positive relationships between  police and youth.
Once again this year, the program culminates in a three day camp, where the youth are challenged to compete a number of difficult tasks, including undertaking an obstacle course.
