On September 18, officers attended the South Brisbane District ‘Our People Matter’ touch football carnival in East Brisbane.
Approximately 110 police officers attended, raising money for Blue Hope – an organisation that assists emergency responders with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
All proceeds from the day were donated to Blue Hope with approximately $1700 raised. Sherwood and Moorooka Police joined forces this year to continue a historically close relationship between the two stations.
