School is out, can you help keep a look out?

The 2018 school year has come to an end and students and teachers are beginning their well deserved break.
During this holiday period Police are urging residents to be aware of nearby vacant school buildings.
Vacant schools create opportunities for graffiti, willful damage, break and enter and theft.
Whilst schools have their own security measures in place, police are seeking your assistance to remain vigilant of your local schools and report suspicious activity.
If you notice any unusual behaviour in or around schools, persons loitering, unsecured doors or windows, please contact School Watch or Police.
The School Watch Hotline is 13 17 88 and the service is operated 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
If you have information for police, contact Policelink on 131 444 or provide information using the online form 24hrs per day.
You can report information about crime anonymously to Crime Stoppers, a registered charity and community volunteer organisation, by calling 1800
