Robbery charges, Sunnybank

Police have charged five teenagers after they allegedly threatened a man with a hammer and knife in Sunnybank and stole his vehicle yesterday.
It will be alleged around 2pm a man stopped his vehicle in Mulgowie Street when he was approached by four males who threatened him with a hammer and knife and demanded the keys to his car. The man complied and the boys fled in the car, a Mercedes-Benz E400.
Around 4.30pm the stolen vehicle crashed into a parked car on Callum Street in Acacia Ridge.
The teenagers fled the scene on foot however two were located by police nearby.
Two of the boys where observed to flee in a Mitsubishi Magna that had been stolen on February 16 from a residence in St Lucia and was been driven by a fifth teenager.
