Police are investigating after a man was robbed in Acacia Ridge on Monday night.
Around 10.10pm a man was walking on Mortimer Road when he has been threatened by a man armed with a pistol. The armed man demanded his wallet and then hit him on the forehead with the pistol and grabbed his wallet from his pocket.
The man removed a sum of cash before fleeing.
The man is described as Caucasian, of skinny build and 165-170cm tall.
Anyone who has further information or was in the area at the time with dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
