Sunnybank lunchtime shoppers took time out of their day today to visit the police pop-up stand at Sunnybank Plaza where they were shown how to play their part in road safety.
Today’s focus is speed.
Police provided road safety information and give-aways and spent time discussing road safety initiatives with members of the Sunnybank Community.
South Brisbane Crime Prevention Police, Police Beat officers and volunteers were joined by Superintendent Virginia Nelson, Inspectors Tim Partridge and Mick Dowdy and Senior Sergeant Dallas Kowald to promote safety on Queensland roads.
Police Liaison Officer, Ken Rong did a fantastic job assisting police to communicate with the non-English speaking members of the community.
Thanks to all who came and committed to putting road safety first.
