The stage was set for one of the most anticipated sporting matches in the districts history with the WASP crew (USS Navy) taking on local officers in a game of basketball today.
The friendly match took place at the Hibiscus Sports Centre, Upper Mount Gravatt and featured officers from WASP who are visiting the mainland after the Talisman Sabre.
The Talisman Sabre is the largest joint military exercise ever between Australia and the United States.
