The 2018 Indian Festival of Holi took place last weekend with thousands of participants taking part in celebrations signifying the ultimate victory of good over evil.
This year’s festivities were the largest to date with activities taking place across parks and community centres in Annerley, Macgregor and Seventeen Miles Rocks.
Police Liaison Officer Nasra Aden and I, alongside Senior Police Liaison Officers Gus Lako, Sam Narayan and Loc Tran were honoured to be invited and joyfully engaged in distributing coloured dye (Rangoli) and the messages of peace, harmony and respect in our community.
