Property security reminder, Mansfield

Police are encouraging residents within the suburb of Mansfield to be vigilant with home and vehicle security measures after a number of offences were reported in the last month.
The majority of the offences have been reported to occur overnight, with offenders targeting residences via forced entry through breaking glass on rear sliding doors.
Offenders are targeting jewellery, watches, vehicle keys and bank cards/wallets/handbags.
Vehicles parked in driveways or on the roadside are also being targeted, with police reminding residents to ensure vehicles are always secured and valuables removed.
