Perfect sunset views
Mount Gravatt lookout is a great place to see a sunset, the views provide a Southside answer to Mount Coot-Tha but with fewer tourists to compete with for that perfect photo op.
On the mountain and surrounds, you’ll find heaps of tracks to walk or run with the local wildlife to cheer you on. Police regularly conduct patrols of the look outs and walking tracks both with vehicles, bicycles and on foot.
Whilst police also conduct regular traffic enforcement including breath testing and speed enforcement both at the base of the mountain and around the look out, the roads are narrow, and winding and care still needs to be taken.
So remember to take your time and concentrate on the road going up and coming down but it’s all worth it with the view up top!
