On Sunday July 7, officers from across South Brisbane came together for the official launch of the Chinese safety videos produced by the Northwestern Chinese Association of Queensland (NCAQ).
These videos are aimed at educating members of the Chinese community in Brisbane about keeping safe and good crime prevention habits to adopt.
Featuring QPS Police Liaison Officers Ken Rong and Li-Shan Huang, the videos provide practical advice for members of the community, in Chinese.
Joining PLOs Rong and Huang were members of the South Brisbane senior management team, including Superintendent Virginia Nelson, Acting Superintendent Morrow, Inspector Dowdy, Inspector Partridge, Acting Inspector Crone and Acting Inspector Goodall.
Representing the community, president of the NCAQ Mr Mark Shi hosted the event, along with speaker and chairperson of the Chinese Community Crime Prevention Consultative Committee (CCCPCC), Ms Vicky Vu.
