Operation Wake Up, Be Street Wise, has proven to be a great success once again.
Police from Crime prevention unit, Police Liaison Officers (PLOs), Policelink officers, Volunteers in Policing (ViPs) and even three mounted police attended the event.

Police were able to deliver a key message behind Be Street Wise, to remind all community members to be prepared and alert when walking and travelling in public.
The focus was to keep the community safe by providing advice to the public about being vigilant with their personal and property safety while around shopping centres, public spaces, entertainment precincts and high pedestrian traffic areas.
