One-way anti-theft screw operation, Carindale

In the first quarter of 2020, police from Carina Police Station and surrounding Police Divisions have responded to an increased number of property crimes in the Carina Police Division.
These boundaries include the suburbs of Carina, Carina Heights, Carindale and Camp Hill.
These types of offences have included break and entering to residences, breaking into motor vehicles, thefts from motor vehicles and other related property crime.
There is an increased focused on these offences by the Queensland Police Service with a number of offenders arrested already.
In conjunction with Westfield Carindale and representatives from the Carina Neighbourhood Watch Program, Carina Police will provide an opportunity for local residents to have one-way anti-theft screws fitted to their vehicles free of charge.
Whilst engaging with this event, members of the public will have the opportunity to discuss security concerns with our Crime Prevention Officers and speak to members of the local Neighbourhood Watch program.
