On Wednesday April 17, two youths were arrested and charged with various offences including attempted robbery, stealing and assault.
The offences occurred on April 16 at a shopping centre in Sunnybank and with the support of witnesses and CCTV footage, police were able to identify and quickly apprehend the offenders.
Both youths will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
Officers from Upper Mount Gravatt along with Child Protection Investigation Unit Officers continue to seek community support in contacting police immediately when such incidents occur and appreciate the support community provide to police and to each other during such times.
