West End’s iconic Musgrave Park played centre stage for special Coffee with a Cop program on Sunday, March 3.
Despite the wet weather, hundreds of locals, tourists, community leaders and stakeholders had the chance to meet their local police, receive timely home and personal safety advice and treat themselves to FREE coffee and a sausage sizzle courtesy of Brisbane City Council’s Safer Community Initiative and South Brisbane Men’s Shed.
Liaison Officer, Volunteers in Police (ViPs) and District Crime Prevention Officers joined their colleges from West End Station and the Rail Squad to answer questions, take photos and highlight how our police are helping to create safe spaces in Brisbane and beyond.
The team from Crime Stoppers and the West End Community Association also hosted stalls, much to the delight of all attendees.
