Detectives are investigating after a number of people were robbed and sustained injures overnight in the South Brisbane area.
Officers were called to Comer Street at 9.55pm following reports that a woman was walking in a car park and was assaulted by a man and had her handbag stolen.
Police attended the scene and the woman was transported to hospital for treatment of an injury to her shoulder.
Shortly after, at 10.30pm, officers were called to Valhalla Street in Sunnybank after a woman was pushed to the ground and had her handbag stolen.
She was transported to hospital for treatment of a possible fracture to her wrist and abrasions.
Officers were then called to a third incident that occurred at approximately 10:40pm pm on Turton Street in Sunnybank where another woman had her handbag stolen and received minor injuries during the incident.
Shortly after 10:45pm a woman had her handbag stolen from a table whilst dining
