Multicultural Hub celebrate another year with community

The Brisbane Multicultural Centre in Woolloongabba was the place to be on Thursday, December 6 for their annual QPASTT/MDA End of Year Cultural Leaders Dinner.
Minister Stirling Hinchliffe MP addressed the gathering as Keynote Speaker on the day, and the attendees had the chance to enjoy a variety of cultural performances over a lavish meal.

The community leaders forum is a quarterly event that allows cultural, community, faith and religious leaders to engage and network alongside business leaders, government representatives, not-for-profit associations and of course – police officers from across the South Brisbane District.
“Initiatives like these help our District become stronger and more better equipped to overcome the challenges in front of us,” Inspector Michael Dowdy said.
“To quote Coretta Scott King: The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.
“You would be hard pressed to see better example than this wonderful community program.”
