The Kyabra Community Association hosted a Family Fun Day on Wednesday, September 25, as part of Child Protection Week.
The free event featured giveaways, food, art and craft stalls with a visit by several emergency services providers including our very own Police Liaison Officers from the South Brisbane District.
Officers had the pleasure of speaking to a number of families on several crime prevention topics, taking photos with attendees and showcasing one of our local police vehicles.
Police Liaison Officer Jeong Bae said the Kyabra Association do fantastic work and we appreciate the opportunity to come out and engage with the community.
“We have been handing out plenty of resources and talking to people both young and young at heart,” Police Liaison Officer Bae said.
“I’m proud to say that our stall was extremely popular” added Jeong. “All the kids want to join the QPS!”
A special thanks to Janet Stewart from Kyabra for allowing us
