Moorooka Police have seen an increase in burglary offences over the last four weeks.
A total of 30 burglary offences have been reported to police.
In the last two weeks we have seen an increase in burglary offences to properties that back onto bushland, mainly Tarragindi Hill Reserve and Toohey Forest.
The offender(s) are entering homes through unlocked doors and windows or are jemmying them open. The offender(s) are going to great lengths to enter homes and in some cases are climbing two storey buildings to enter toilet windows.
Please ensure that you secure windows and doors and that vehicles are locked with no valuables left visible.
Please remain vigilant and report suspicious behaviour to police.
