On Wednesday, August 5, officers from the Carina Police Station executed a series of search warrants across the Carina Police Division with the aim of disrupting and preventing the supply of dangerous drugs in the local community.
Three individual properties were targeted and as a result, police allegedly located a large quantity of dangerous drugs including methylamphetamines, cannabis, drug utensils and a large amount of cash.
Cannabis allegedly seized during property searches
As a result, six people, all from Carina Heights, were arrested and charged with a total of 27 drug-related offences.
A 36-year-old man has been charged with possess utensil, possess things for use and possess things that had been used (in relation to alleged criminal activity).
A 28-year-old woman has been charged with possess dangerous drugs, possess proceeds, possess a thing and possess a utensil (in relation to alleged criminal activity) as well as 11 counts of supply dangerous drugs.
