The appeared that the furry fiend was clipped, injured and staggered off into the bush land to the side of Logan Road.
Senior Constable Plaschke and Constable Davies of Holland Park Station answered the call and took off in hot pursuit. Sergeant Edmondson attended to assist in containing the offender.
Officers did not hesitate to scour the bush, armed with flashlights and cautious to locate the koala, not knowing what condition they may find him in. After some coordination and apprehensive moments, the koala was located injured and dazed, which allowed the officers to carefully recover him from the cold ground.
The police were then required to make an emergency
