ViP Birgit King-Martin exits the building
Ms Birgit King-Martin started her Volunteering in Policing (ViP) program at the Upper Mount Gravatt Police Station in May 2011.
After seven years and seven months working as a ViP, Brigit decided to officially leave the QPS to focus on herself and her family.
Birgit had been involved in number of projects and community events such as Special Kids Christmas, pop up tables at shopping centres, coffee with a cop, letter box drops, visiting victims of crime, conducting home and business security audits, recruiting new ViPs and so much more.
Birgit demonstrated her leadership, communication and organisation skills in this job.
Many people have known Birgit as a wise, respectful, loving, caring and fun person.
