Police from the Upper Mount Gravatt Tactical Crime Squad recently executed search warrants on two separate addresses where a combined 30 litres of GHB was located.
Also located at the addresses were quantities of suspected stolen jewellery, methylamphetamine, $40,000 in cash and a handgun.
The combined street value of the methylamphetamine and GHB is estimated at $120,000.
Information relating to this significant seizure was gained from members of the public utilising crime stoppers.
Police are extremely pleased to prevent the potential harm of such a large quantity of illegal drugs entering the community.
A 32-year-old Woolloongabba man has been charged with supplying dangerous drugs, two counts of possessing dangerous drugs, receiving or possessing property obtained from trafficking or supplying, receiving tainted property, unlawful possession of weapons category H (handgun), possess explosives (ammunition), possession of relevant substances and unlawful possession of controlled drug.
The man has been remanded in custody and will appear at the Brisbane Magistrates
