Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, South Brisbane

Police have charged a man after a vehicle stolen from Rochedale was allegedly driven dangerously in Runcorn last night.
It will be alleged around 7:30pm a grey Ford Falcon sedan, which had been stolen at gunpoint from a 33-year-old man at Priestdale Road in at around 5:30pm, was observed driving at speed on Pinelands Drive at Runcorn.
Police successfully deployed tyre deflation devices and tracked the vehicle with the assistance of PolAir.
A short time later the vehicle was observed entering the intersection of Beenleigh Road and Mains Road at Sunnybank where it collided with several vehicles.
It will be alleged the driver then attempted to steal a vehicle belonging to a motorist who had stopped to assist.
Officers subsequently took the man into custody a short time later.
A 23-year-old man has been charged with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of unlawful entry of a motor vehicle.
