Dangerous driving charge, Springfield

Police have charged a man following an incident in which a vehicle allegedly evaded police and drove dangerously in Springfield overnight.
At 11:45pm before midnight officers observed a car with stolen number plates being driven along Beaudesert Road at Acacia Ridge.
Polair tracked the vehicle and allegedly observed it being driven at high speeds and running red lights.
Officers successfully deployed tyre deflation devices at the intersection of Springfield Greenbank Arterial and Grande Avenue at Springfield Lakes, deflating all four tyres.
The utility continued to drive through Springfield, onto the Centenary Highway and then the Logan Motorway, being followed by police crews.
The vehicle then exited off the Logan Motorway onto the Mount Lindsay Highway where it turned onto Browns Plains Road where officers brought the car to a stop and took the driver into custody at 12:20am.
