A three day joint operation was conducted in South Brisbane District this week by 20 officers from Upper Mount Gravatt, Carina, Moorooka and Holland Park Stations, with the support of the Upper Mount Gravatt Tactical Crime Squad.
The operation was a direct result of ‘Crime Stopper’ information being forwarded by the community, which in turn was successfully acted upon in a timely and coordinated manner by South Brisbane District Police.
During the three day operation, 15 addresses had search warrants executed upon them by police, who were supported by Queensland Police Drug Dog Team.
A total of 24 people were charged with 52 offences as a result of the execution of the search warrants. The charges related to drug, property and firearm offences.
