Police are encouraging residents in the Thornlands and Redland Bay areas to be vigilant with vehicle and property security following a number of break and enter, unlawful entry of motor vehicle (stealing items from a motor vehicle) and unlawful use of motor vehicle (stealing of motor vehicle) offences reported to Police from May 28 – May 30.
Between the hours of 11.30pm and 9.00am, unknown offenders have approached a number of addresses and gained entry to vehicles parked in driveways to then access the remote control to gain access to houses via the garage. Unknown offenders have stolen keys, garage remotes, cash and cards. Two vehicles were also reported stolen, however have since been recovered.
