Queensland Road Safety Week is fast approaching and now in its fifth year, is being celebrated across the state between Monday August 26, and Friday August 30.
To show their support for putting road safety first, Coorparoo Police hosted a Coffee with a Cop event this morning.
This event gave police an opportunity to speak with members of the community about road safety and crime prevention, while also answering any questions.
Thankyou to everyone who joined us at Merlo Coffee Coorparoo to share their stories and help us highlight the importance of road dafety.
Please stay safe on the road and always remember to pay attention.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a driver, pedestrian, bike rider, motorcyclist or heavy-vehicle operator, you can play an important role in road safety.
Thankyou to our Transport Minister; The Honourable Mark Bailey MP, Joe Kelly MP and Inspector Tony Ridge for attending!
