On Saturday, June 2, police from Mount Gravatt station, Crime Prevention and Road Policing Unit hosted a community engagement and awareness event.
The event took place at two locations: Sunny Place shopping centre (Sunnybank) and Runcorn Plaza.
The police were joined by Volunteers in Policing (ViPs) who helped raise awareness and educate members of the public in home security and personal safety measures.
The police bike appeared to be a popular attraction for all the young kids, who enjoyed having their photos taken next to it.
The event was popular with local community members and enabled police to provide the locals with advice on home security, vehicle security and personal safety strategies.
