Police from the Centenary Patrol Group joined a large group of custom car enthusiasts at Jindalee last week for a monthly car meet. The monthly event has a group of like minded car nuts showing off their hard work, countless hours, and no doubt money, with each other in a relaxed environment.
Police were in attendance to promote road safety, and to answer any questions motorists had about recent changes to laws involving cyclists, and any other general queries about road safety and vehicle modifications.
Police were welcomed by the group, who did not condone poor driving behaviour and low vehicle safety standards, stating it reflected poorly on them, who do the right thing, and just wanted to get together with like minded people, and share their passion for motor cars and culture.
