Carina Police provide one-way, anti-theft screws

On Tuesday April 16, officers from Carina Station joined together with their local Neighbourhood Watch Group and Westfield Carindale to combat number plate theft in the Carina area.
Some happy visitors
After some successful promotion of the event, police had a massive line up of eager customers ready to fit one-way screws to their vehicles whilst also receiving some personal and property security information.
It was an excellent opportunity for the community to see their officers performing proactive services such as this and the event also showcased the strong relationships between police and the local Neighbourhood Watch Group.
It was also a very poignant time to re-enforce the Queensland Police Services Easter road safety message to families travelling on our roads this Easter.
Please remember the Fatal Five and slow down to arrive alive – there is no text message or phone call that urgent that you need to endanger yourself, your family or other
