Police are advising Bulimba residents to review home security arrangements including locking doors and windows. Several houses and vehicles have been entered in the area with both property and sometimes vehicles being stolen.
Offenders enter unlocked vehicles and locate garage remotes or house keys to gain further entry to victim’s homes. In some instances offenders have entered unlocked doors of residential homes and targeted vehicle keys and stolen vehicles.

lock all doors and windows prior to leaving your home.
check doors before going to bed, don’t assume someone else had locked up.
make sure your vehicle is secured and any valuables have been removed.
do not leave house keys, spare keys and remotes in vehicles.
remove items of mail or personal identification from your vehicle.
park your vehicle in well lit areas.
