Back to school, Sunnybank

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I think many of us ‘grown ups’ still ask ourselves this question! Career days are happening all over Queensland in our secondary schools at the moment.
Police often get invited to attend these days but this was particularly special for me as Sunnybank State High School is my old stomping ground.
It was inspiring to see so many students with a passion to pursue such a wide variety of professions. Even if the students don’t necessarily want to join the police, it’s fun to explain what police do day to day.
I was delighted to find out a number of students are chasing my original dream of being a professional soccer player.
I joined School Based Police Officers Shane and Crystal to spread the good word and promote our police service positively.
It’s been over 10 years since I was on the school grounds and to see all
