Acacia Ridge detectives have charged a man with attempted murder following the alleged assault of a 25-year-old woman at Pallara this morning.
Police attended a car park in Ritchie Road around 4.30am where a seriously injured woman was located. She was transported to hospital with critical injuries.
Police investigations resulted in the charging of a 31-year-old Pallara man. He has been denied police bail and is due to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court tomorrow, October 8.
The man and woman are known to each other.
