Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning at Mansfield.
Around 12.53am, police were called to a tavern on Luprena Street following reports of an armed robbery.
Initial information suggests that two men wearing face masks have broken into the business and then confronted two staff armed with a hammer.
They threatened staff and demanded money before fleeing the scene on foot with a large sum of cash.
No one was physically injured as a result.
Investigations are continuing.
