Two men have been charged following a series of alleged armed robberies in Brisbane’s south over the last week.
It will be alleged on October 5 just after 12am a woman was driving along Azalea Crescent at Calamvale when a red hatchback stopped in front of her car.
Two men exited the hatchback and allegedly produced handguns before demanding the woman’s car and fleeing the scene in both vehicles.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
It is further alleged that around 2.15am the same day a 29-year-old man was driving along The Avenue in Sunnybank Hills when a red hatchback stopped in front of him.
A male passenger of the hatchback then approached the man as he sat in his vehicle and allegedly produced a handgun, demanding he get out of the car.
The man accelerated away in his vehicle while the hatchback continued to follow before the victim was able to contact police.
