Armed robbery arrest, Macgregor

On Friday, September 13 at approximately 3am, a man has allegedly attended a premises on Mains Road, Macgregor and demanded property whilst threatening an employee with a baseball bat.
The employee complied with demands and the man has left the premises with a sum of money and a substantial amount of property.
The employee was not injured.
Subsequent detailed investigations by Upper Mount Gravatt Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) led police to executing a search warrant at an address in Robertson on Wednesday, September 18, where detectives located stolen property, a weapon used in the offence and other related evidence.
As a result, a 37-year-old Robertson man was subsequently charged with enter premises, armed robbery, possession of dangerous drugs and traffic related offences.
The man appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 18 and will re-appear on October 14.
