Appeal for witnesses – Serious traffic crash, Eight Mile Plains

Police are appealing for information from the public in relation to a serious traffic crash in Eight Mile Plains last night.
Initial investigations suggest around 6.45pm, a grey Holden Captiva was attempting to turn right from Chester Road when it was struck by a white Holden Commodore travelling south on Warrigal Road.
As a result one of the vehicles impacted a nearby brick fence.
Six people were injured and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The Commodore’s driver, a 28-year-old Sunnybank Hills man, was issued with a Notice to Appear at the scene. He will appear in court at a later date.
Anyone who may have witnessed the white Holden Commodore prior to the incident in the vicinity of Warrigal Road, or has dash cam footage or who may be able to assist with the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
