Appeal for witnesses – Mt Cotton hit and run crash

Police investigating a hit and run traffic crash at Mt Cotton in late July are appealing for witnesses.
Investigations indicate a cyclist was riding south along Mt Cotton Road around 3pm on Tuesday, July 31 when a car turning left onto Mt Cotton Road from Woodlands Drive collided with it.
The car failed to stop, and police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or has any dashcam vision, to contact them.
The vehicle has been described as possibly a medium sized car that was grey or gold in colour.
The cyclist, a 75-year-old Shailer Park man, was admitted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with injuries including a fractured elbow.
